Arriving in Uganda

Four of our party of five arrived late last night after 21 hours in the air!  And despite the punishingly long trip to get here, it is personally thrilling to be back in Africa, a country that has captured a piece of my heart!  While awaiting the arrival of our remaining traveler today, we visited the Botanical Garden and Wildlife Rescue Center in Entebbe.  As we met people at our hotel and throughout the day we were continually impressed with the kindness and courtesy of the Ugandan people.   All were gracious, welcoming and very interested in our micro loan work.   Tomorrow we head off to Jinja to visit our first village hub, to meet borrowers, administrators and see some of the businesses we have funded through micro loans.
